A spanish group in Florence

Last saturday I went to Flog, a nice concert hall here in Florence, to see the exibition of Macaco, a spanish group coming from Barcelona. It's been a very good show: I already knew that group, and I liked it very much. The group is very famous in Spain while it's not as much here in Italy. The hall was full of spanish guys living here in Florence for Erasmus or something. I don't know how many italian people were present that night; I don't think they were the majority anyway.


I think that Flog is the best place to see live music in Florence. It's not in the city center but is quite near, and there are always good bands playing, from all over the world. The place was born many years ago as a center for the people working at Officine Galileo, one of the biggest firms in Florence; its name stand for Officine Galileo Workers Foundation (Fondazione Lavoratori Officine Galileo). Nowadays it's open to everybody and is one of the most known places for the people who loves music.
